Rome is a neophyte experiment and military industry founded in November 2005 as the main output for the songs of JÃÆ' Â © rÃÆ'Â'me Reuter of Luxembourg. Although Reuter was the main creative force in the band, he performed live with various musicians who also contributed performances in various studio recordings. In early 2006 Rome was signed to the Swedish record label Cold Meat Industry. Roma has since signed a contract with the record label Trisol Music Group in 2009. Rome is considered one of the most important acts in the neofolk genre. Prior to his work in Rome, Reuter was a singer in a post-punk band called Mack Murphy and Inmates.

I mean, I'm just being honest about not believing there's a middle ground when it comes to racism and homophobia, for example. And my back-catalog contains many songs that are clearly contrary to the grains in some way. But as you mentioned, I do not want ROME to be seen as a 'political band'. It stains things. I also do not want to talk about politics all day long. ROMA does not encourage certain philosophies like some bands (not just underground). I am leaning to the left of things - or whatever it is - not so important, and I do not think politics should hinder the making of fine art.
