Blue Tea Games's work is usually released through digital and online casual game distributor Big Fish Games where the company enjoys critical praise and success through their Dark Parables series.
The Common Dark Games game is a puzzle-and FROG-driven retreat from popular fairy tales. A FROG (Fragmented Object Game) involves searching for fragmented parts of an object in a scene. Once all are located, self fragments assemble into work objects that can be used in puzzles elsewhere according to narrative tales.
Blue Tea Games launched a new series of Macabre Mysteries in 2011 with a focus on the supernatural/horror aspect of an urban mystery. The company's largest commercial success in 2007 was Forgotten Riddles: The Mayan Princess, which reached # 1 on the Big Fish Games portal.

Forgotten Riddles series
The Mayan Princess is the HOG (hidden object game) featuring stories, made in the 16th century, about the fate of the Mayan family.
As part of the game, the list of items for players to find is usually presented in the form of a puzzle. For example, "You will find me marking a time without checks and no tocks; this is with the sand that I imitate the modern day clock". The player will eventually realize it refers to the hourglass, which can be taken as a hint to progress through the game. According to the GameZebo interview, Artist Interface Design Shawn Seil has created exactly 1,500 puzzles for this game.
